As the six-time champion leading American Thoroughbred horse trainer, the simple mention of the name Todd Pletcher in the world of Thoroughbred racing causes heads to turn. At just 42 years old, he has overcome adversity and established himself as one of the youngest and most prolific trainers in history, earning his nickname of “The King”.
This year, Grey Goose Le Melon Vodka will raise a toast to Todd Pletcher at this year’s Kentucky Derby with a nobly inspired, hand-crafted cocktail known as “All The Kings Horses”. The cocktail will be served throughout The Kentucky Derby and is a refreshing combination of Grey Goose Vodka’s newest expression, Le Melon, mixed with a unique blend of muddled jalapeño, freshly squeezed grapefruit and lemon juices, a hint of St-Germain liqueur’s floral sweetness, and a splash of soda.
