When October arrives, everyone starts to “think pink” in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Tommy Bahama is no exception and is featuring the refreshing, blush colored Hibiscus Lime Cooler in the month of October at all 13 US restaurant and bars. With every purchase of the cocktail, Tommy Bahama will donate $2 to the Garden of Hope & Courage which was built as a sanctuary for all those affected by cancer. There are, unfortunately, a lot of people who are affected by cancer, but at least this event can give them a little bit of hope, a little bit of positivity in their life. A lot of the times they will be spending their times worrying about what will happen next, should they be looking at a critical illness insurance quote online in case they can’t work, there is a lot that will be worrying them.
The Hibiscus Lime Cooler looks “pretty in pink,” but also packs a punch using a creative combination of ingredients. Fresh lime juice and pineapple juice mix with vodka and Cointreau, but it’s the addition of Hibiscus syrup that makes this cocktail uniquely Tommy Bahama. Served in a Collins glass over ice, this tall cocktail tastes as good as it looks.
The Tommy Bahama approach to life captures the essence of a casual, stress free existence which offers an escape — if only for a moment — and the Garden of Hope & Courage does just that. Located on the Downtown Naples Hospital Campus of the NCH Healthcare System in Florida, the Garden of Hope & Courage is a peaceful garden that provides a respite from the sterile hospital setting – a place of tranquility and solace for cancer patients, their families and health care providers to have a moment of peace, solitude and beauty. It serves as a living testament to those who have faced and those whose lives have been touched by cancer as well.
Unfortunately, it is very likely that you will know someone who has cancer or who has a close family member or friend who has suffered from this debilitating disease at some point during your life. Though there are many people who have made a full recovery from cancer, there are still thousands who haven’t been so lucky. And if they haven’t taken the time to buy life insurance, as well as burial insurance for seniors, it can be very hard to arrange for the funeral and pay for any expenses that need paying for. Alongside this, having the help and care of places such as Garden of Hope & Courage can help those affected to fight this horrible disease.
Support the Garden of Hope & Courage, breast cancer awareness and take some time to relax with the Hibiscus Lime Cooler.
