It’s Pool Season: Miami Cocktail Company Launches New RTD Line For Summer

The all natural craft cocktail series features two new pre-bottled cocktail flavors: Organic Tropical Sangria and Organic Blood Orange Mimosa—both made with the natural ingredients and organic craft wine.

The products are free of additives, preservatives, artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners, and just 100 calories per serving.

Organic Tropical Sangria (9% ABV)

“All natural, authentic sangria with a tropical twist. Sangria in southern Spain is often called ‘Zurra’, and is known for it’s more exotic fruits and flavor. Starting with premium red wine harvested from organic grapes of select varietals, the wine is delicately infused with organic tropical juices of pineapple, mango, orange, and lime. Balanced. Fruit forward. Fresh.”

Organic Blood Orange Mimosa (9% ABV)

“Mimosas aren’t just for Sundays anymore. Southern Italy is renowned for its fresh citrus fruits. It is only in Sicily where one can find the best organically harvested Blood Oranges known as ‘Arancia Rossa di Sicilia.’ Hand-harvested, organic blood oranges along with Sicilian tangerines are blended with a touch of organic Florida grapefruit and effervescent craft wine to create a vibrant, flavorful citrus expression. A fresh, Italian take on the classic Mimosa cocktail.”

Editor’s Tasting Notes

Our team had the chance to taste both new flavors, and found them to be refreshing and not overly sweet, unlike a lot of RTD cocktails on the market.

The Tropical Sangria is fruity and light, but balanced, with grape notes being the most predominate, followed by mango and pineapple. It’s not your typical sangria, but certainly would work well for an easy cocktail by the pool, or as a great base for summer punches. Try it frozen for a sweet and icy treat.

The Blood Orange Mimosa is less mimosa and more grapefruit cooler, but don’t let that keep you from picking up a bottle. Slightly effervescent, try it with a little lime and a splash of sparkling soda for a light, even lower ABV cocktail.
