The Bar Bag is inspired by the classic gentry of 19th century London, calling on easy professionalism, wit, style, and chivalry of the gentleman scholar. Modeled after antique medical kits from the age of home-visiting doctors, the Bar Bag simultaneously references the early medicinal remedies attributed to gin as well as the pride and skill that modern cocktail culture requires of its distinguished purveyors. The bag is constructed with all top-quality materials from the soft, pebbled leather skin to the sapphire waxed-canvas interior, to the full-range of high end bar tools included in each bag.
Barking Irons knack for merging historical inspirations with the modern age made them the perfect collaborator for Bombay Sapphire. “From the very beginning, we knew it was going to be the quality and attention to detail that would make the most meaningful connection to the age of craft and refinement,” says designer, Daniel Casarella.
The bag is exclusively limited edition and handmade in New York City. It will be available for purchase at www.barkingirons.com for $495.
