Ruth’s Chris Steak House is proud to partner with Taylor Fladgate® and Fonseca® to host an exclusive five-course Port Dinner on October 18 at 51 participating Ruth’s Chris Steak House restaurants nationwide. Illustrating the versatility of Port, the dinner will feature a Port cocktail as well as pair the variety of styles, from white to Tawny to Vintage, with each of the five courses.
“We are excited to bring our guests an evening of exploring Port styles with Taylor Fladgate® and Fonseca®. They are benchmark producers with a true legacy of both tradition and innovation,” said Helen Mackey, Corporate Director of Beverage Strategy for Ruth’s Hospitality Group.
Mackey and Robert Bower, U.S. Export Manager and 8th generation of the Yeatman family to run the Taylor Fladgate® and Fonseca® port houses will co-host the Ruth’s Chris Steak House Port Dinner in Northbrook, Illinois. In addition, the pair will welcome guests to the dinner with an educational video which explains styles of Ports as well as Taylor Fladgate’s Vintage Ports which are blended from the family’s own quintas or estates, Vargellas, Terra Feita and Junco. These three iconic and geographically distinct properties produce characteristically unique wines, and are the cornerstone of the company’s success and the main source of its inimitable house style.
