So, want some of the best bartenders in Seattle to serve you crazy strong drinks while Brazilian music’s playing? Of course you do. The Novo Fogo Bars on Fire series is taking over Vessel on February 9th from 7-10 pm, with Alex Negranza of Liberty (aka Negranzino!) and Chris Goad of Canon (aka Huesos!), and Jim Romdall (aka Peaty!) hosting. (The nicknames are real, as are the Carnival masks.)
As it’s Carnival, the night’s going to be extra special. The Jovino Santos Neto Trio will be performing a variety of Brazilian music over the course of the evening, and Vessel Chef Cameo McRoberts is preparing a special menu of her own interpretations of traditional Brazilian food. This sounds delicious, and definitely worthy of some mask-wearing festivities.
Part of the Seattle Cocktail Week Preview, this should help you get geared up for Speed Rack and all the other fun things coming our way. For more information and awesome photos, check out their Facebook page – or just get a sneak peek from the video below.
